Before Treatment

We will gently cleanse the skin and apply a topical anesthetic to ensure maximum comfort throughout the treatment.

During Treatment

Once numbing has taken effect, I will gently pass the SkinPen over the treatment area. As the tiny needles create microchannels in the skin, patients typically feel light pressure and a light buzzing sensation, with minimal discomfort. Treatment lasts approximately 30 minutes.

After Treatment

Most patients notice slight redness in the treatment area, similar to a mild sunburn. Additional common treatment responses include dryness, tightness, and peeling. This is normal and should subside in 24 to 72 hours. Makeup and sunscreen may be applied 24 hours after treatment.
